That’s a wrap for the Canadian Nationals. The last 2 weeks were filled with positive stress, excitements and celebrations.

On August 8th was the last and final round of the Eastern Canadians Nationals Women’s series. Eve came into this last round with a 20 points lead and was confident about going for a title repeat. Although she wasn’t able to go for a clean sweep, as one of the National team had 7 time US WMX champion, Jessica Patterson to come race the last round in hope to break her winning streak. Eve only needed to finish in the top 10 both motos to secure her 2nd consecutive championship but that wasn’t going to stop her to try and battle with Jessica. In time qualifying and both races, Eve

was able to set lap times within 2 seconds from Jessica but faded a little backward as the races developed. It was a good experience and Eve now knows she has to work on her endurance to be able to battle with the best of the best.
From Ulverton the team made the drive straight to Walton for the Transcan amateur Canadian Nationals were Eve was looking for redemption after having a bunch of mechanical issues at that same race last year. Eve was able to start in the top five in each races, quickly made her way into first place on the opening laps and managed her lead going for a clean sweep with a 8s, 12s and 15 second lead in the 3 races to be crown the Queen of Walton.
