TYLER MEDAGLIA FINISHES 5th AT DESCHAMBAULT, MX NATIONAL!
Tyler Medaglia had an eventful ride at The Rockstar Energy CMRC Canadian National in Deschambault this past weekend. The veteran rider gave everything he had and put on a real show of talent and heart to his many fans who came out to watch. “I made a pass on Thompson in moto 1 in the last corner, then he came over the berm and we made contact. I got pushed into a beam of the bridge we went under and had a bad crash. I thought I may have broken my arm, my knee swelled up right away too. I’m pretty sure everyone thought I was out! I managed to get up and still finish in 5th. The second moto I had a bad start, but I charged hard and I caught up to the leaders. I tried to make a pass in the last corner but just missed it! Even though I didn’t get that last pass, I was still really happy with my ride because I was able to reel the top guys in after my start.“
Tyler finished 5th in moto 1 and 4th in moto 2, impressing everyone with his determination and his will power to never give up regardless of the circumstanaces. He proved once again that he is a true role model in the sport of motocross.
Kyle Regal, the TUF Racing/Rockstar Energy athlete was also in attendance for one more round of Canadian motocross during his Arena Cross off-season. Kyle’s determination to get back on a two stroke and try Canadian racing have seen him go up against the 450 cc bikes in the MX1 class the past few weekends with positive results around the top 10 range. Kyle finished in 14th position overall in Deschambault and had this to say about his time in Canada: “I’m truly grateful for the opportunity Husqvarna gave me. I was in my off-season from Arenacross, I hadn’t ridden a two stroke in almost 10 years but I wanted to try, and I wanted to come to Canada, so Husqvarna helped me out. It was a fun experience for me, I have a lot of respect for the level of racing in Canada.
I’ve got a full schedule with riding schools now for the rest of the summer, but I’ll still be putting in some laps on the TC250 for fun when I can! I’d like to thank everyone who helped me during my visit to Canada including Parts Canada, Belray, the entire Husqvarna Motorcycles family, and my mechanic Tyler Mickelson for all of his hard work. I’d also like to thank the Medaglia family for their support and comraderie and I wish all of the riders the best of luck in the remainder of the Canadian season“
The next stop on the Rockstar Energy Motocross Nationals Calendar is in Moncton, New Brunswick this weekend.
